I am a French American artist. I started oil painting 20 years ago, taking evening classes at the Decordova Museum School in figure drawing, still life, acrylic and oil painting. I learned from outstanding teachers including: Jill Pottle (https://www.pottleart.com), Richard Lagasse (https://www.Richardlagasse.com) and Alexander Farquharson (http://www.alexanderfarquharson.com)

A few years ago, I took classes online with another great artist, Aaron Blaise to learn about digital art using the photoshop platform. With these new skills I illustrated a children book on Hirschsprung’s a rare disease and I just finished one about the Alzheimer’s disease.

I am currently taking a class “How to draw” by Professor David Brody (from “The Great Courses”) to learn some of the basics of drawing and composition.

My studio is in our home where I receive loving support from my family. The room where I paint is blessed with natural light. Together with classical music, it provides an ideal environment. I have also integrated meditation into my painting practice as a way to focus and solve problems.
